UNDERSTANDING THE UNDERLYING CAUSES

Pinpointing the underlying causes of poor digestive health can take time to determine. Through 1:1 consultations and targeted stool and microbiome testing we aim to identify root causes and possible contributing factors to bring your digestive system into balance. Nutritional and herbal remedies can help calm inflammation, address microbial/fungal overgrowths, help regulate gut health and stimulate healing.

Poor digestive health has implications throughout the body, when our gut is not happy, we do not absorb our food efficiently, leading to possible nutrient insufficiencies. Over 70% of our immune system is in our gut, as such poor functioning will impact our immunity and resistance to bacteria/microbes. The gut is also intrinsically linked to brain health via the gut-brain axis, as such gut health can impacts mental health, mood, sleep.

Many of our clients have been dealing with GIT issues for years, have had every test the NHS can offer with no explanation of the symptoms they are facing. We are here to help you find answers, please get in touch.

Common Questions

Naturopathic nutrition addresses imbalances in the body which contribute to sickness and disease. It differs from other nutritional therapies because it treats the whole person, not just the symptoms and offers long-term solutions to optimise health. We use whole foods, supplements and lifestyle adjustments to help bring your body into balance.

Initial consultations take around 1hr to 1.5hrs, we take detailed case histories going back to childhood to understand your health journey and help us understand where your body needs support. We then create personalised programmes tailored to your needs. Depending on the package you choose, follow up meetings and support will be set up to keep track of your progress.

Follow up appointments are generally 30-45 minutes depending on the complexity of health issues. We will discuss how the plan is going, your symptoms, any new symptoms, discuss test results. Nutrition and supplement plans will be adapted as your health journey evolves.

Initial consultations are £150, follow up sessions are £70. Packages are available and can be discussed during your free 15-minute discovery call.

No, these are at an additional cost. The NHS and your GP may be able to facilitate some testing, however private testing is also often required. Functional testing can be arranged for our patients at discounted prices, and we work within defined budgets to achieve best outcomes.

We always prefer to meet our patients in person for the initial consultation, however we are very happy to do video consultations to work around your location and schedule.
